What is A.C.E.?

A.C.E. stands for Anglican Christian Education. Primarily, the goal of A.C.E. is to standardize the children’s Christian education across the Diocese of the Southwestern States. Through the A.C.E. program, we will be able to have a consistent framework of Christian education goals for all of our churches. This will not only enable our teachers to work more freely and creatively, but also give new teachers direction and focus for any child they are teaching. Also, if a family moves from a church in one state to a church in another, the child can pick up seamlessly in the curriculum where they left off in the previous church.

The vision of our A.C.E. program is not limited to just the students, though. In order to improve the quality of education our churches offer, we want to also support our Sunday School teachers and Youth Leaders through increased communication and networking. This website will have resources and links available for teachers to use in their classroom. Finally, under the A.C.E. umbrella, we plan to also hold yearly training retreats for Sunday School teachers and Youth Leaders. In order to improve the education we offer to our children, we want to improve the education of our teachers. In short, the A.C.E. program covers four things:

Standards
Resources
Communication
Training
